Planning and Project Control Department

The main role of Planning and Project Control Department is to provide a road map for all future development decisions on a project, to empower project stakeholders to make the right decisions at the right time.

Activities under the umbrella of planning and project control department of Sepehr Movaled company consist of:

  • Aligning projects with portfolio/organization goals and objectives
  • Developing projects’ work-breakdown structure (WBS)
  • Collaborating on initial project schedules
  • Developing risk management plans
  • Applying lesson learned from the other similar projects
  • Project budgeting and forecasting
  • Monitoring project costs
  • Preparing projects’ feedback and reporting
  • Optimizing project strategies to enable better outcomes in the future

While a project may deal with many parameters, such as quality, scope, etc., the discipline of project controls focuses on the cost and schedule factors, continuously monitoring for any risk to them.

In Sepehr Movaled Planning and Project Control Department, with an active and enthusiastic group of young professionals, we aim to apply right project management and planning methods responding to the projects’ requirements.

Besides, considering the dynamic life cycle of the oil and gas sector, we try to monitor and control the various micro and macro factors that impact cost and schedule of the project to help the stakeholders to control the consequences.
